Heroes / Reading roster

Choose a job, then a hero

Use this small reading roster to compare responsibilities. It is intentionally selective and carries no pick-rate or win-rate claims.

Filter by role

Original fan illustration introducing the tank role

tank / Frontline space

Reinhardt

Cross the sightline with a reason. Reinhardt can protect an approach with his barrier, but the team still needs cover when that resource runs low.

Keep in mind

Before committing, check whether your supports can see the position you intend to hold.

Official hero details

tank / Mobile protection

D.Va

D.Va can change levels quickly and answer pressure away from the main group. Decide which angle matters before spending mobility to reach it.

Keep in mind

Getting back to the team is part of the route, especially when an ally becomes the next target.

damage / Off-angle pressure

Tracer

Tracer can pull attention toward an awkward second angle. Arrive with a way out so the pressure lasts longer than the first exchange.

Keep in mind

A flanker who cannot reconnect with the fight may be forcing an entirely different game from the team.

Official hero details

damage / Steady sightline pressure

Soldier: 76

Soldier: 76 gives you a straightforward way to practise sightlines and movement between cover. Look for a useful view of an active team fight.

Keep in mind

A long sprint can become a long absence. Notice when the team has already moved on.

Official hero details
Original fan illustration introducing the support role

support / Ranged support and utility

Ana

Ana supports the fight from range while keeping defensive utility for dangerous moments. Cover and a second exit make that job more reliable.

Keep in mind

Zooming in narrows your attention. Check the approach a flanker could use before it becomes urgent.

Official hero details

support / Responsive protection

Kiriko

Kiriko can respond to danger and move toward an ally. Keep track of which teammate still offers a safe landing after the rescue.

Keep in mind

An escape that leads to the same lost fight is not much of an escape.
